Silly stuff aside, Pure Vanilla's relationship with White Lily in the AU is... pretty complicated to say the least.

Deep down peepaw still holds genuine love for meemaw, but with all that has happened and the resulting feelings from such he does not really understand how to deal with it.

Part of him yearns to move on, especially with the knowledge that things are no longer the same. White Lily only has half a life, she is but one side of the same coin, a fragment of someone who brought havoc and destruction on earthbread

(cough cough Dark Flour War cough cough)

She holds guilt from before and after having been "split apart", damage had been done, there's no denying such.

Yet with all of that, another part of Pure Vanilla still struggles to let go of what once was. And White Lily's ""return"" is only going to make that more difficult.

TLDR: the addition of that "old chemistry" both had resurfacing into the mix may be putting his mind in a rather conflicted state, just by a tiny bit/silly
